Pregnancy Conception Calculator

Trying to get pregnant?
We will assume that you have the ‘how to do it’ sorted out very nicely but might need a little help about ‘when to do it’ to give you the greatest chance of becoming pregnant.
That is the purpose of the ovulation calculator. It predicts when you’re most fertile.
From a few days before you ovulate until a day after the release of the egg is ‘prime time’ and is the time to lock the door and get busy.
Sperm can live in the body for up to 5 days so for 4 days prior to ovulation is the time that you are most fertile and the when you have the greatest chance of becoming pregnant.
The calculator requires you to enter the first day of your last menstrual period. If your monthly cycle is 28 days and luteal phase is 14 days you can hit calculate and it will give you the day that you will be most fertile. Remember that anytime in the 4 days before this date and the day after is prime time. If the length of your monthly cycle is not 28 days then you can enter the correct number that corresponds to the days of your monthly cycle. If you know the length of your luteal phase you can also enter that. You need to have a blood test to determine your luteal phase but the majority of women experience a 14 day luteal phase, so unless you know your luteal phase and it is different to 14 just leave this box blank.
We wish you all the best in your endeavour to fall pregnant. Children are truly one of life’s joys and a blessing that everybody deserves. We know you will have heard it before but another very important thing is to just relax and enjoy the experience. We all know what a great feeling making love with your partner can be - enjoy it.
